"The truth is that life for Jews within the House of Islam has been characterized by ceaseless humiliation and regular pogroms. A state of apartheid has been the norm, in which Jews have been forbidden to bear arms, to give evidence in court, and to ride horses. They have been forced to wear distinctive clothing (the yellow badge originated in Baghdad, not in Nazi Germany) and to avoid certain streets and buildings. They have been obliged, under penalty of violence and even death, to pass Muslims only on their left (impure) side while keeping their eyes lowered. In parts of the Arab world it has been a local custom for Muslim children to throw stones at Jews and spit upon them. These and other indignities have been regularly punctuated by organized massacres and pogroms: in Morocco (1728, 1790, 1875, 1884, 1890, 1903, 1912, 1948, 1952, and 1955), in Algeria (1805 and 1934), in Tunisia (1864, 1869, 1932, and 1967), in Persia (1839, 1867, and 1910), in Iraq (1828, 1936, 1937, 1941, 1946, 1948, 1967, and 1969), in Libya (1785, 1860, 1867, 1945, 1948, and 1967), in Egypt (1882, 1919, 1921, 1924, 1938-39, 1945, 1948, 1956, and 1967) in Palestine (1929 and 1936), in Syria (1840, 1945, 1947, 1948, 1949, and 1967) in Yemen (1947) etc." -Sam Harris, from The End of Faith

For me the worst form of racism is when children do not invite their Jewish, Gypsy, Black, Asian or poorly dressed friends to their birthday parties. They play together in the street, they sit together in school, they talk together, grow up to together and are even superficially pleasant to each other - but come birthday time the doors get shut in their faces. The hurt done to the child whose been excluded lives on for years afterwards. To make matters worse the harm done cannot be healed and is a scar on this childs personality for years afterwards. I would argue that racism starts in the home. It becomes a disease and plague when governments, scholars and historians spread it in their utterances and publicly support it.

Yes and Bin Baz said the world was flat, until a Saudi in space told him differently.

However, we must acknowledge the acuity of the argument this not quite moron has made.
He can both say the holocaust never happened, and he wishes Hitler had finished the job, and isn't that the ne plus ultra argument and wish of every denier, bigot of the most ancient kind, and sicko?

Let's keep in mind that as attrocious as the propaganda may be coming out of Arab-Muslim world today, it was Christian Europe that committed the Holocaust.

I mention that both to remind everyone of the past and also to point out that the future is not yet written by demagogues like Al-Rashudi.

It wasn't Christian Europe that was behind the Holocaust -- it was NAZI Germany, who happened to be (obviously nominally) Christian.

It wasn't Iraq that (as far as I know) was behind 9/11. They were happy, not proud. But somehow 9/11 led to this mess we're still in.

As to the double-digit Jews killed in the Holocaust, who were the other six million, then?

I'd just like to remind Ian Thal that Nazi Germany had very friendly relationships with the Islamic world, and that, after the war, many German war criminals were given refuge there. Demagigues like Al-Rashudi belong to a long tradition of anti-Jewish rhetoric and action, as hockey hound's catalogue confirms.
